When the weather and river become more suitable for new paddlers we hope to run a number of courses for beginners. These will be 6 weeks in total and introduce you to the club and the kayaking. The price is £65 ( the first week free as a trial) which includes coaching , kayaks, paddles and buoyancy aids. We hope you will have enjoyed it so much you will want to join as a member and the £65 will be taken off the membership fees. We will then run an intermediate course for you. I’m aiming to start an adults course on Monday 29th April at 6pm. For kids ( and parents who want to try) we run a very popular course on a Thursday at 5:30pm
starting after the Easter holidays on May 2nd. We also have the offer of intermediate courses on Sundays at 11am and Thursday evenings
starting after Easter weekend for anyone who wants to join the club and go for a scenic low speed paddle and improve their technique.
There is always the chance of getting wet with canoeing so bring adequate clothes in which to paddle in and a change of clothing to go home in. We have good changing facilities with hot showers.
If you are interested please contact me on coachingcoordinator@hotmail.com
Thanks
Ben Dolling
