Worcester Ring – a paddlers view
One of our newer paddlers, Ben Dolling, recently recorded his paddle round the Worcester Ring. If you want to see the results and get some inspiration for doing the Ring Challenge later in the year, click here.
‘Mini Head’ – Sunday 5th Feb
Please be aware that Worcester Rowing Club are running a ‘Mini Head’ on the river this Sunday, 5th Feb.
This is not a formal event but there may be slightly more boats on the river including two marshalling catamaran. Boats will be launching from 8.30am with crews departing from The Camp Pub from 9.30am onwards. It is expected it will all be finished by 10.30am.
Please take extra care if you intend using the river during this time.

American Themed Quiz – Sat 11th Feb
WCC AMERICAN THEMED QUIZ FUNDRAISER!
Come along and enjoy a quiz evening with an American twist to raise funds for the canoe club. There will be hot dogs and burgers for sale during the evening for those that would like a snack. £3 per adult and £1.50 per child for the quiz.
Feel free to bring friends and family along. As always the bar will be open!
7pm for 7.30pm start.

The dates for the 2017 sprint races are as below:

2017 National Canoe Sprint Regattas
Worcester University Head of River – 29th Jan
Please be aware that the University of Worcester Rowing Club is holding their annual Head Race on Sunday 29th of January 2017.
Boating is due to begin at 8:15AM but they have asked that the river be clear by 7:30AM so that umpires and marshals can get in place. If all goes to plan, they hope to finish by 5:00PM but please note, these timings are only approximate.
