Hi all,

Its that time of year again when the nights are getting darker and the river is becoming less inviting. Therefore we have booked the New College (Blind College) swimming pool for Worcester Canoe Club swimming sessions as we have done in previous years. These are starting on Monday 31st October.

These are open to ANYONE that would like to keep their fitness levels up and keep in touch with club members over the winter months. We have to pay to hire the pool so like usual there will be a small charge per swimmer. There will be 4 lanes that vary from lanes doing a set fitness session, to lanes that just potter up and down at their own pace, do whatever suits you best. Parents/children/friends of club members are also welcome to join. People must be able to swim to join these sessions as they will not be coached as such.

Where: New College (blind college) Whittington Rd, Worcester, WR52JX

When: Monday nights 6.45pm-7.45pm

Price: £3.50 per swimmer (bring cash on the night)

Follow signs to the visitor parking and you will find the pool in the middle of the campus. There is a code on the door – check on the clubs closed group Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/worcestercc) to find out what this is or contact me on the number below. Don’t worry if you forget the code – knock on the window I’m sure someone will let you in.
