Hello my fellow canoe club chums!
You probably wont believe it but its under 7 WEEKS until this years annual WCC Christmas Dinner and awards evening!!!
The Worcester Canoe Club Xmas Dinner and Awards are on Saturday 3rd December @ 7pm.
Due to positive feedback from last year, we are returning to The Holt Fleet. This venue will allow us to have a private function room to ourselves to allow us to present our annual awards, but at a price much lower than other private Xmas venues.
Tickets will be £25 per person. The evening will include a 4- course sit down meal, presentation of the awards, and our own exclusive Disco/DJ to have a good old canoe club boogie! We may even throw a raffle in there for tradition.
As its close I am now collecting money and getting a list of confirmed bookings. The deadline to confirm your booking with me and to pay is Friday 18th November as we need to get confirmed numbers and payment to the venue at least 2 weeks before.
Like last year, I will be booking a coach for those that would like to be taxied to and from the canoe club for a few pounds a head. The price will depend on numbers, last year it was £4 per head for the return journey. Please let me know if you would like to book a seat ASAP and I will collect numbers and book a bus accordingly.

If you don’t bump into us down the club you can also post payment into dads locker (no.32). Payment can also be online to WCC, if you would like to do this let me know and I will send details.
Club members, partners, family and friends are all welcome!! The more the merrier! It would be great to see some of the newer members there too to get to know some new faces!
Get your bookings in, I’m sure it will be another fab club evening, last year we had over 80 attendees so hopefully this year will be just as busy!
